For the second time in four years, Herb Sendek (shown above with ASU career scoring leader and NBA sharpshooter Edde House) has earned the honor of top coach on the west coast by the United States Basketball Writers of America (USBWA).

Another complete game shutout from Hillary Bach and a two home-run night from Katie Crabb fueled the ninth-ranked ASU softball team Tuesday night as they topped Creighton 4-0 and St. John’s 11-3 (5). Bach took the win in game one as Megan Elliott grabbed the win in game two as ASU rolls to 17-2 overall.
